How to Check Print Head Nozzle in Epson Printer?

Epson printers have permanent build in print head. But once you replace the print head or nozzle it may start causing various issue. Problem like the nozzle is missing or the whole color is gone. In this situation you have to clean the print head nozzles. There are two different way to check the nozzle:
•        Checking the Nozzles using computer utility
•        Checking the Nozzles using the product Control Panel

Checking the Nozzles Using Computer Utility
Load some plain papers in the Sheet Feeder.
Access the Windows Desktop and right click the printer’s icon in the Taskbar.
Select nozzle check. A window will appear, try to print it.
Check the printed pattern to see if there are gaps in the lines. If the print head nozzles are clean then you will get a clear print.
If there is no gap click on “Finish”. 

Checking the Nozzles Using the Product Control Panel
Go to Home and press Set up button there.
Click on Maintenance.
Select Print Head nozzle Check.
Load some plain papers in the Sheet Feeder.
Select Print, and check if there is gap in print pattern.
If there is no gap, select done. But if you still see gap in printing pattern Select Clean the Print Head and Continue.
Follow the instructions given on screen and then repeat this process if necessary.

If there is no improvement once you have done any of the above method to check nozzle and still having gaps after you cleaned it for 4-5 times then wait for few hours and repeat the process again. If even after that the situation doesn’t improve there is possibility that the ink cartridge is either old or damaged. Change that particular cartridge.
